A rebar cutting and bending machine is a combined solution developed for applications that want to bring two basic rebar preparation operations together in a single machine. The Göçmenler Group GK 36 model provides both bending and cutting capacity in the same technical data set. This makes it possible to choose a single piece of equipment instead of separate cutting and bending machines in terms of working space, transport and operation planning.
When choosing a combined machine, cutting and bending values should be checked separately; the permitted diameters for the two operations may differ at the same steel strength. In addition, the motor, operating voltage, dimensions and weight should be evaluated according to site conditions. If only cutting is needed, rebar cutting machines may be more suitable; if only bending is needed, bar bending machines may be more suitable.
A combined solution stands out where both cutting and bending are carried out regularly on the same construction site and allocating space or logistics for two separate machines is inefficient. On the other hand, in facilities where very high-volume cutting and bending operations run simultaneously, separate machines may better support the production flow.
When evaluating the GK 36, the bending and cutting capacity tables should be read independently of each other. The suitability of the combined solution for the project should be determined by considering the strength of the steel to be used, the target diameters, the energy infrastructure and the operator workflow together.
When requesting a quote for a combined solution, the maximum diameters to be cut and to be bent should be specified separately. The fact that the machine performs two tasks in one operation does not mean the capacity tables can be read as a single common value.
| Model | Bending capacity* | Cutting capacity* | Motor | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GK 36 | Ø34 mm | Ø36 mm | 6.8 HP Diesel | 650 kg |
